Today, February 27th, an Argentine leftist organization (Tendencia Piquetera Revolucionaria) developed a rally in front of US’ embassy in Argentina. It’s leader, Juan Marino, said: “We demand Mamet’s recall to the US immediately, the end of US interference in the court cases related to AMIA’s bombing and Nisman’s murder, and we reject the involvement of the FBI and CIA in the investigation of both crimes. Mamet’s isn’t an ambassador, he is a lobbyist linked to Chevron and other imperialist companies, and he’s in our country to develop a pro-imperialist and putschist orientation, which in our country is embodied by Sergio Massa and Mauricio Macri, right-wing presidential candidates. Cristina Kirchner’s government isnt’ fighting against Mamet but, otherwise, it’s main functionaries have met with him in order to legitimize his presence. They capitulate against putschism. We, the Tendencia Piquetera Revolucionaria, confront with imperialism y demand Mamet’s resignation”.
