IN THE 30^TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE MALVINAS WAR

ACT OF THE REVOLUTIONARY PIQUETERO TENDENCY (TPR) IN PLAZA DE MAYO, INDEPENDENT FROM CRISTINA FERNÁNDEZ DE KIRCHNER

During the 30^th anniversary of the Malvinas War, on Monday, April 2^nd, the Revolutionary Piquetero Tendency (TPR) carried out an act in Plaza de Mayo. Juan Marino, TPR’s leader, declared during the act that “we are carrying out this act in Plaza de Mayo, in the 30^th anniversary of Malvinas War, in order to denounce that, while the imperialist offensive advances in Malvinas and all Latin America, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner deepens the submission of the national economy to imperialism, represses the people that rise against pollutant imperialist enterprises in the Cordillera, maintains occupation troops against the fraternal people of Haiti and allows the installation in the province of Chaco of a military base which belongs to Southern Command of the United States. That’s why, this April 2^nd, we are developing an independent act from Cristina”.

The slogans of the act were: ¡Cristina deepens Argentina’s submission to imperialism! // ¡Out with imperialism from all Latin America! ¡Malvinas and the Cordillera are not negotiable! // ¡Out with Argentinean troops from Haiti! // ¡Out with the Yankee military base from Chaco! // Cristina maintains Menem’s pacts with British imperialism. Down with the Madrid Agreements and the Nº 24184 Law that protects British inversions // ¡Expropriation without payment and under worker’s control of all imperialist enterprises that simultaneously operate in Malvinas and in the rest of Argentina’s territory! // ¡Long live the British worker’s struggle against Cameron’s adjustment! // ¡Capitalists must pay the crisis, not the workers and the peoples oppressed by imperialism!
