Why Obama and the Democratic Party seek to shut down the Baltimore uprising

The Democratic Party is leading the way in trying to stop the U.S. movement against rampant police brutality and murder. Their representatives are blaming the victims of police brutality, physically forcing people off the streets, and promoting faith in the capitalist legal system.
Neither Democrats nor Republicans address the real crime: High unemployment, inadequate housing, and lack of quality healthcare in poor Black communities. Working people need funds for social services and jobs, not for an abusive militarized police force!
Racism and police abuse are built into how the capitalist system works. Until that system is replaced by socialism, we need elected civilian review boards that have the power to fire and discipline police. It is long past the time for community control of the police!
